Join SENGUARD, a funded cybersecurity startup and top 3 finalist for ‘Cyber Startup of the Year 2025’. We’re building advanced protection systems for vulnerable internet users using proprietary threat detection technology that proactively blocks cyber threats before they reach the device.
Backed by Scottish EDGE and supported by forward-thinking financial partners, we are gearing up for a commercial launch in Q4 2025. This is a ground-floor opportunity to make a genuine impact in cybersecurity for an underserved demographic.
The Role
As our Full-Stack Developer, you’ll work alongside our technical founder to bring our security platform to life across mobile and desktop. You’ll focus on UI/UX, performance, integration, and accessibility, helping transform complex backend systems into intuitive and secure apps for everyday users.
Key Responsibilities
- Flutter & Cross-Platform App Development
– Develop and maintain Flutter apps for Android, iOS, Windows, and macOS
– Build accessible UI components for older and vulnerable users
– Ensure high performance across devices - Security Integration
– Implement proprietary DNS-level threat detection
– Securely connect to backend threat services
– Handle encrypted user data flows - User Experience & Accessibility
– Optimize for cognitive/sensory accessibility
– Test with real users and iterate on feedback - Backend & Web Integration
– Support authentication, profiles, and subscriptions
– Connect to REST APIs (internal and third-party)
– Maintain data security throughout the app
Development Timeline
You’ll join during a crucial pre-launch phase, contributing to:
- Finalising cross-platform user-facing apps
- Integrating proprietary cybersecurity modules
- Testing and refining for the Q4 2025 release
- Supporting post-launch feature development
Required Skills & Experience
- 1+ years Flutter development
- Experience with cross-platform frameworks
- API integration and backend service connection
- Understanding of secure app development
- Commitment to accessibility best practices
- Familiarity with Git, VS Code, and debugging tools

You’ll be mentored directly by our experienced technical founder in a high-responsibility, high-trust environment. As SENGUARD grows from a 3-person team to 8+ over the next 18 months, you’ll have direct influence over architecture and product direction—plus room to grow into senior roles.
